In New Mexico—our lands and waters are woven into the fabric of our cultures and ways of life. As we continue our series on how New Mexico is leading the way—we are talking today about our fight to protect our public lands, the sacred waters of the Rio Grande and our rivers and streams, and to ensure our communities have a climate-resilient and sustainable future. That’s why I am proud to have helped pass the largest climate and clean energy bill in American history, we passed bipartisan legislation for grid modernization and water data in the #NMLeg, and we’re bringing home millions of dollars in funding to support climate resilience, forest management, the clean energy economy, water infrastructure, and support for our farmers and ranchers. This work is essential to the future of our state and our planet. We won’t back down!
