Daniel Scott was returning from Salt Lake City when he found his suitcase missing at baggage claim. He waited for a while, checked two carousels, and then opened the FindMy app to track his luggage. Scott had placed an AirTag in his suitcase, and he saw that it was moving toward the ride-share lot and leaving the airport. It stopped in an abandoned building half a mile away. Scott's partner called the police, who arrived and searched the place. The people inside were wearing Scott's clothes and shoes. Several people in the building were detained, after which Scott was allowed to go in and look for his belongings, where he recovered 90% of them. Apple has a Share Item Location feature that allows you to request an airline's assistance in finding your lost luggage. If your missing luggage has an AirTag, you can share its location link from the FindMy app. Nearly 30 airlines, including American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, JetBlue, and United Airlines, support this feature. #travel #...
