Here we go again… for the second Tuesday in a row, thunderstorms are possible in the San Joaquin Valley! It may not be a lot of rain in the Valley, but it’s a different story for the Sierra Nevada. They’ll see Tuesday thunderstorms as well, and some of theirs could contain locally heavy rain. Because of that, a Flood Watch is up for the Sierra for Tuesday and Wednesday. Fingers crossed for a little (or a lot) of rain on the Garnet Fire. It wouldn’t put that big of a fire completely out, but it would definitely slow it down a bunch, which would help firefighters working the fire.
