With our Fall 2025-26 playing season swiftly reaching opening weekend in a couple of days, the Cal South Referee Program would like ALL Cal South members – coaches, referees, team administrators, parents, and players – to be well aware of the latest changes to the Laws of the Game in advance of the season launch. The International Football Association Board (The IFAB), which oversees soccer’s official Laws of the Game, recently released their latest round of change updates. IFAB has created a presentation with corresponding text on their website to help everyone review the Law changes and clearly and easily understand how these changes will be employed in game situations.
