Good Afternoon, Friends, Today is National Wildlife Day! 🦌🐻🐦 Even in a country as richly biodiverse as America, Colorado stands out for the breadth and beauty of all the creatures, great and small, who call our State home. Today, we officially proclaim our appreciation for all the animals we are lucky enough to call our fellow travelers on this road called life. But, truly, every day brings with it the opportunity not only to think fondly of the kindness, compassion, and respect that wildlife deserves, but to act and being agents of change for the betterment of all life on Earth. My favorite animal–the Snow Leopard–is not, alas, a native of our great State, but a fellow wildcat of breathtaking beauty–the Canada Lynx–is, indeed, a Colorado treasure, and another of my favorite animals.
