The newer L model dramatically improves the megapixel offering which may or may not be your deciding factor over the earlier fp if you need to choose. But the real talking point is of course the modular build. If you love customisation, you'll assuredly end up diving down a rabbit hole of weird and wonderful accessories from official to homebrew and everywhere in between to give your fp a completely unique design.
