LIONS SINK STALLIONS: The @jserra.girlstennis team returned to the win column on Tuesday, as the Lions knocked off the San Juan Hills Stallions by a score of 14-4 in a nonleague encounter at San Juan Hills High School. JSerra improves to 4-1 on the season. The Lions were led to victory by their doubles tandems winning eight of nine sets. Sophomore Brookelyn Garcia and freshman Paisley Crutchfield teamed together to claim triumphs of 6-3, 7-5, and 6-0. Also posting a sweep was the team of sophomore Ava Levitanus and junior Naomi Clarke, who produced wins of 6-2, 6-1, and 6-0. The pair of sophomores Milana Leffler and Julianna Johnson added victories of 6-1 and 6-0. Freshman Madison Mann (6-4 and 6-0) and sophomore Isabella Geffre (6-0 and 7-6) each claimed two triumphs in singles action.
