Today we raise our voices to recognize Missing and Murdered Indigenous People Day. We must recognize the systemic issues that allow this violence to continue and take action to protect and support Indigenous peoples, which is why I cosponsored the introduction of a resolution in the House to designate today as a federal day of awareness.
