It’s been a busy final week in Washington! This week, I am proud that FIVE of my bipartisan bills passed the House. The Rio Grande Water Security Act, Water Data Act, WaterSMART Access for Tribes Act, Rio Grande Pueblo Irrigation Fund, and Partnerships for Energy Security Act! These critical bills will help to protect our most precious resource for generations to come. I was also proud to join the Women’s Caucus and SpeakerPelosi for a press conference to share stories about reproductive rights – which the Senate must act to codify into law. #WeWontGoBack. We also passed CHIPS Act to boost our STEM economy, national security, and domestic manufacturing. And, we passed a bill to reinstate the Assault Weapons Ban. We passed the Environmental Justice for All Act out of Committee. And we celebrated our amazing Summer interns and fellows! We’re headed home for the August work period and can’t wait to be back in District!
