Whew! What a week! Thank you to everyone who has reached out and checked in. In spite of getting sick this week, our Team has been hard at work in District and DC, holding remote town halls and meetings and prepping bills for next week. This week I was honored to participate in a virtual town hall with aarpnm to hear from New Mexicans across our state! We rallied to support our unmgradworkers and held meetings with agencies and stakeholders. This week I also cosponsored important legislation to extent dental care for our veterans—and celebrated the introduction of the #AmericaCOMPETES Act which is crucial for STEM innovation in NM! Though I’ll be remote as I am continuing to recover, next week we’ll be moving important legislation in Washington, D.C. so stay tuned! And in the mean time—please take care out there, everyone!
