The second week of 2022 is in the books—and it was a crucial week for our country! I joined the House in voting to pass the Freedom To Vote Act and John Lewis Voting Rights Act and to extend GI benefits to our National Guard. I was honored to talk #infrastructure and economic development—with the City of Albuquerque and Together For Brothers on public transit, at Governor Lujan Grisham’s infrastructure summit with our state’s amazing mayors, and with local and national leaders as part of the SEED-NM summit. As we continue to fight to get the #BuildBackBetter Act and Voting Rights out of the Senate, I was honored to join Partnership for Community Action and hear from parents across NM how the #ChildTaxCredit has helped make ends meet. We MUST pass the BBB and continue to invest in our kids and their future!
