In 1948, Miguel Trujillo Sr. of Isleta Pueblo returned from WWII and tried to cast a ballot, only to be denied. Miguel took action and won, helping to secure Native American voting rights in NM. The Senate must honor his legacy: #AbolishTheFilibuster and protect the right to vote.
