Over the past decade, NM has faced at least 14 extreme weather events, causing over $5 billion in damages. Our communities need the investments in the #BuildBackBetter Act to address the climate crisis, invest in clean energy, resilient infrastructure, and a Civilian Climate Corps. As the world gathers in Glasgow for #COP26 the #BuildBackBetterAct lays out how the U.S. will help achieve our climate goals by investing over a half trillion dollars in every sector of our economy and create millions of jobs to rebuild and help get New Mexicans back to work.
