Today on #LatinaEqualPayDay, I am proud to cosponsor Rep. Teresa Leger Fernández's resolution calling for equal pay for Latinas. Today is the day it takes for Latinas to catch up to what white men earned last year—that’s 57 cents on the dollar. That’s why we’re fighting for equal pay and pay justice. This resolution recognizes the impact of the wage gap on women, families, the economy, and our country. It reaffirms Congress's support for equal pay and closing the gender & racial wage gap.
