USAF 🤝 USMC This month, the 921st Contingency Response Squadron participated in a 10-day joint training exercise as part of a series of upcoming training exercises to qualify their deployment readiness before assuming alert later this year. During the exercise, they fired multiple weapon systems to include the M-240 machine gun and M-110A1 sniper rifle, performed sling loads with the 3rdmaw’s HMH-361 CH-53 Super Stallion heavy lift helicopter, set up operational tents, moved cargo, and conducted post-attack reconnaissance sweeps as part of their CBRN training. Contingency response Airmen are ready to operate anywhere and are strategically placed around the globe to expediate response time in the event an air operation must take place.
