For the first time since 1968, U.S. Airmen have graduated from Basic Military Training at a location other than Joint Base San Antonio Lackland. Due to safety concerns from the #COVID19 pandemic, some recruits were sent to keesler_afb Miss., to continue their training. The shift demonstrated the usairforce’s ability to create distance and generate the force at multiple locations.
