The One Big Beautiful Bill Act, signed into law by President Donald #Trump on Thursday, July 4, 2025, makes permanent several of the expiring tax cuts contained in Trump’s signature 2017 #tax legislation—the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. It also introduced a handful of new, temporary deductions—including “no tax on tips.” The #Treasury has released a preliminary list of jobs that qualify for the new #tipdeduction.
