When the driver tried to steer it back onto the highway, it flipped over, with Stone ultimately passing away from the accident. ______________________________ The suit stated that Stone and the other passengers in the van survived the initial accident. Passersby stopped to help five of the nine people aboard crawl out of the vehicle. However, while Stone was still trying to escape, she suffered the impact of an 18-wheeler that crashed into the van.
