Last week, we welcomed dancers ages 8–18 for our Youth Ballet Program placement class at Joffrey Ballet School—the first step toward joining our program. Similar to an audition, this class helps ensure each student is placed in the level that best supports their training. From beginner through advanced, students were guided in a supportive environment that emphasized classical ballet technique, proper terminology, and the fundamentals of strong training.
