Robert Jones, a Minneapolis businessman in the late 1800s and early 1900s, built the Longfellow House near Minnehaha Falls, a replica of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s home in New England as a way to honor him, even though Longfellow never set foot in Minneapolis.
