A lot of people have done their #AST1 which is very much just an introduction to decision making in the backcountry. We highly recommend doing the #AST2 as it expands on the the theories and principles of AST1. The 2 course incorporates extensive practical field sessions in real #Avalanche terrain implementing a systematic approach for assessing and evaluating the potential Avalanche hazard.
