Born in the Bronx and raised in Brooklyn, Lisa is a graduate of the High School of Performing Arts and The Juilliard School. Her dynamic career spans film, television, and theater, with acclaimed performances in A Lesson Before Dying, Disappearing Acts, Having Our Say, The Sin Seer, Law & Order, P-Valley, and more. She has graced the stage in productions like Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Broadway), Richard III (NY Shakespeare Festival), Reparations (The Billie Holiday Theatre), and Heliotrope Bouquet (Playwrights Horizons). Her recent work includes Albany Road with Lynn Whitfield on Amazon Prime, Watson on CBS, and Favorite Son Christmas on BET. Beyond the spotlight, Lisa is deeply committed to wellness, teaching, and mentorship.
