Millions of people around the world don't know where their next meal is coming from. For
#GivingEveryTuesday this week, let's focus on ending food insecurity. It’s a big goal, but remember that small actions taken locally add up to big change. Ideas for how you can help fight food insecurity:
- Pack lunches and give them out to anyone who wants one. Hunger doesn’t discriminate so don’t assume someone who appears a certain way must not be experiencing hunger.
- Get involved with your local food bank, community fridge, or mutual aid society
- Consider creating a Blessing Box or Little Free Food Pantry in your neighborhood. Neighbors can take what they need and leave what they can spare
- Give to
#nonprofits that are fighting food insecurity worldwide on social today and tag your favorite hunger organization and
#GivingEveryTuesday.
