Thanks to our friends at makeinroads and all their partners for creating this holiday and for bringing global activists and artists together to bust abortion stigma everywhere. makeinroads often work with artists to destigmatize abortion and today we want to highlight Asia Bordowa (chaosxgrrlz ), one of their Fellowship Artists. In this comic, Bordowa imagines a “boring future of abortion” - one where abortion is accessible, affordable (or free!) destigmatized, and decriminalized. The boring future of abortion is one where society doesn’t question abortion anymore and sees it as a totally normal experience. We love dreaming of this future where abortion medicines are easily available at any gas station, in any vending machine, and abortion conversations are as normal as talking about sports or the weather.
