But 3 in 5 abortions in the USA actually happen at independent abortion clinics–small, community health providers all over the country. Think indie bookstores/record stores/mom & pop shops, but abortion. Most Planned Parenthoods only offer medication abortion, which is prescribed up to 10-11 weeks. People who need care after that will very likely see an indie provider. Huge portions of the US rely entirely on indies, and that becomes increasingly true the further you get into pregnancy.
