✨ Part I ✨ This month SYA is honored to be highlighting the Reproductive Justice framework—what it is, the people who are living this work, and why it matters for *all* of us. ** Highlighting RJ is important because we believe in giving credit where credit is due. Historically, the mainstream pro-choice movement has set the bar too low—protecting Roe is not enough, limited access is not enough, and repealing Hyde is mandatory. The most visible white repro leaders have been lauded for victories which have left BIPOC people behind. All the while, RJ have been building a wholistic, visionary movement for human rights, and doing life-saving work on the ground, especially in the south and in BIPOC communities.
