So that includes using things like birth control, and abortion - and abstinence, if you can hold on. And so that’s where our agendas overlap. But because Reproductive Justice was a theory and practice created by Black women - which I’ll talk about later - we have to respond to the incessant demands that we control our fertility. Otherwise known as eugenics and population control. Because we’re told that our children are a problem and our fertility is a problem. So the second tenet of Reproductive Justice is the right to have the children that you want to have. And under the conditions under which you want to have them.
