💚🖤💚 “Now y’all, I’m from Texas. Houston, Texas, to be exact. I know exactly what’s at stake at the Supreme Court today. I lived in Texas under HB2, a law that took away abortion access for many and caused so much harm. The Louisiana law the Supreme Court is deciding on today is almost the exact same law they said was unconstitutional four years ago. This law pushes abortion out of reach for low income people who call abortion funds every day. They deserve access to abortion whenever they need it. Abortion funds will always be here to fight for it. Who is with an abortion fund??? The Supreme Court needs to recognize our struggles. The Supreme Court needs to support our right to an abortion. The Supreme Court needs to respect its promise to us in 2016. The Supreme Court needs to strike down the Louisiana Unsafe Abortion Protection Act.
