Eames House 😍 Know the Eames House? It was built in 1949 by Ray and Charles Eames as part of a postwar effort to design affordable modern housing. This is one of the most intact "Case Study" houses remaining, and you can still visit it today. Over time the building began to show signs of wear after decades of sun and ocean breeze. Starting in 2011, Getty partnered with the Eames Foundation to address the conservation challenges of the building, the landscape, and the experience.
