Detroit is known for cars, Motown, and techno music—but it’s also home to one of the most compelling, underrecognized contemporary art scenes ...until now.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Built by Detroiters for Detroiters, DETROIT SALON is the city’s first landmark global contemporary art event and exhibitions platform. Following three years of research, community engagement, and program development, this artist-driven flagship art event will launch in 2028 in Detroit with a global exhibitions roadshow beginning this October during Art Basel Paris 2025 and continuing at Art Basel shows through 2028.
