Where do we come from and where are we going? 🌎 Right now, organizations across Southern California are in the process of developing innovative exhibitions, publications, performances, and public programs focused on the intersections of art and science for PSTinLA 2024. Several projects will be focusing on Cosmology and Exploration. Three projects to look forward to: 1️⃣ LACMA’s exhibition “Cosmologies” will look at attempts to understand the origins and mechanics of the universe, especially the development of observational astronomy and efforts to comprehend time and space. Working with scientists at GriffithObservatory and CarnegieAstro to tell these histories, LACMA curators will also present contemporary art that poses timeless questions: What are matter and energy?
