At its core, the piece is an apologue. A story about transformation, redemption, and second chances. The material has a past: lumber retired from playa duty, supports a structure of about 700 bells made from spent high-pressure tanks, threaded on salvaged wire from earlier BM art. Beneath, fabric covered discarded mattresses—once bound for the landfill-offer one final gesture of comfort. Like the people who encounter it, like these elements are not perfect or pristine, but made more meaningful by their history.
