Last year at just 15, @gretathunberg walked out of her school and marched to the Swedish parliament to call for a rapid climate action. She did this every Friday. This seemingly small act eventually inspired other school children and adults to do the same. Greta has inspired over 1.4 million people to stage climate protests. Her speeches underline the concern that young people feel as they see inaction for a crisis that threatens their future. Today's #climatestrike taking place around the globe is the greatest expansion of Greta's vision thus far and she has challenged the world to demand the safety of our collective home.
