It's a World Penguin Day edition of the Penguin Progress Report 🐧 Waddle your way below to see which of our African Penguins was good, and which needs improvement. Our good penguin is, again, Lucas. He has been keeping company with his girlfriend Katy, but has also been a gentlepenguin to the Wildlife Care Specialists. We have been working with Lucas to develop a special shoe to protect an injury on his foot, and he has been patient and cooperative when the Wildlife Care Specialists need to help him put his shoe on. Because he's been so sweet, he is our good penguin of the month. Our penguin who needs improvement is McKinney. McKinney has gotten a bit too big for his britches and has been nipping at the Wildlife Care Specialists when they enter the habitat to feed the colony.
