Today, we're bringing awareness to the critically important work being done by our researchers and partners in Central Africa's Ebo Forest, home to rare and endangered gorillas, drills, and many other species. This key biodiversity area is not only important for wildlife, but also for more than 40 local communities coexisting in the area. Proposed logging concessions threaten the forest and all of its inhabitants, but we're hopeful the government will support sustainable land-use plans that benefit people and wildlife in this unique landscape.
