Red ruffed #lemurs are considered to be one of the world's most endangered #primates, so every birth is significant. Today, we're excited to introduce the 1st baby born at our facility in 13 years. This species is native to a small peninsula in Madagascar, but our red ruffed family currently resides at the Zoo's behind-the-scenes Primate Propagation Center.
