A rare sighting of a Meadow Pipit feeding a juvenile Cuckoo. This strange behaviour is no coincidence; the Cuckoo is a brood parasite, laying eggs in other birds' nests. Once hatched, they instinctively remove competition by ejecting other chicks from the nest, and are then fed by their foster parent.
