It’s March, the month of the Spring Equinox and when the clocks finally go forward an hour. This is also the month when the warmth of the sun wakes the snakes from their winter slumber. Grass snakes and adders are cold blooded and when spring arrives they can be seen basking in a sunny spot to warm their bodies.
