We aren't the only ones who will be feeling the chill, so here are some things you can do to give our feathered friends a helping hand through this cold snap! ☃️ 🍽️ Extra calories go a long way - kitchen scraps like fruit and grated cheese provide a tasty treat for birds. 💧Hydration is key - Birds need access to clear, fresh water which can be tricky at this time of year so provide shallow dishes and make sure to defrost it each morning! 🚿Keep it clean - We recommend cleaning your feeders at least once a week in a mild detergent to help keep birds safe and reduce the spread of disease. 🏚️Shelter from the cold - Dense hedgerows, ivy and holly provide great roosting areas for birds to shelter in this frosty weather.
