Say hello to the incredible European roller! 💙💎 Mostly seen in Southern Europe, it is very rare for one to make its way to the UK, leaving birdwatchers and locals to marvel at the extraordinary colourings of this unique visitor. Thanks to Adrian (adrianlangdonphotography), who captured this amazing photo of a European roller feeding in a ‘set-aside’ field down in Cornwall last month. Set-aside fields are fields which have been taken out of production on farmland, allowing nature to reclaim the land and enhance biodiversity.
