#WorldAlbatrossDay is this weekend! This year the theme for World Albatross Day is climate change, which is recognised as one of the three key drivers behind globally declining albatross populations. The consequences of climate change such as rising sea levels, extreme weather and increased temperatures are already damaging important habitat, decreasing prey availability and inhibiting the reproductive success of albatross species. By tackling climate change, holding government leaders to account, and achieving international targets, we can change the outlook for albatrosses.
