The findings in this year’s #Birdcrime report are shocking. With 137 confirmed incidents of raptor persecution, last year was the worst year for raptor persecution in the 30 years on record. Almost two-thirds of confirmed incidents were connected with land managed for gamebird shooting. 2020 also saw the highest proportion of recorded incidents occurring within protected landscapes. As we face a nature and climate emergency, we need to do more to protect our wildlife and environment.
