This female wasp spider is our #WCW, but we definitely wouldn't take dating advice from her... During mating season, male wasp spiders hang around the edge of a female's large web, waiting for them to moult into their maturest form. At this point, the female's jaws are soft, so the male sprints in to mate while she's at her least dangerous to him. Sadly, soft jaws don't always mean survival, and many males still get eaten during their baby-spider-making attempt.
