Honduran-American actress America Ferrera is making her way to our screens in Apple TV+’s “The Lost Bus.” The survival drama tells the story of the true events of the 2018 Camp Fire in Paradise, California. Ferrera plays Mary, a school teacher whose class is trapped as flames move through the town. The film uses the stories of real-life heroes, Mary Ludwig and Kevin McKay, who worked closely with the team behind the film. “The Lost Bus” is set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
