"As winter turns into spring, we get to see the occasional Redstart appear at Minsmere. As a volunteer guide, I headed down to the gorse bushes to help people spot it. Luckily, my hubby was also there that day, so I was able to pinch his big lens and get some great shots! This photo always reminds me of the excitement of everyone that day. Taking pictures and being able to share them is a great way to show people the variety of species you can see if you simply look carefully. Picking up the camera a few years ago made me look in greater detail at the world we live in and to me, that’s the real benefit of taking pictures.
