With this, the team, which includes Brazilian gymnasts Rebeca Andrade, Lorrane Oliveira, Jade Barbosa, Flávia Saraiva, and Julia Soares, are the country’s first ever team medallists in the sport and won Brazil’s first-ever team medal in Olympic gymnastics. Despite Saraiva’s fall which resulted in a black eye, Team Brazil remained focus and secured the historic victory. Andrade, Brazil’s most decorated gymnast of all time, also qualified to the all-around final in second place with a score of 57.700 and delivered a 15.100 on vault, which was the biggest score of the night on vault. The three-time Olympic medallist is the second best gymnast in the world behind only Simone Biles and is the only other current gymnast to rival Biles in the Olympics. ¡Parabèns, Brasil! 🇧🇷 #rebecaandrade #lorraneoliveira #juliasoares ...
