Event Recap: Fighting Foie with Foie 🦆🍽️ Our Fighting Foie with Foie event last night took some surprising and thought-provoking turns! We hosted a seven-course tasting menu featuring foie gras in every dish, with a mix of curious guests and foie gras activists. But here’s where things got interesting: by the end of the night, many of the activists realized they weren’t even protesting foie gras because they felt strongly about it. It turns out, for a lot of them, it was more about fitting in with their small circle of friends and looking cool. As we sat down together, sharing incredible dishes and open conversations, the focus shifted. Guests realized there are far bigger issues to tackle in the world, and maybe foie gras wasn’t the hill to die on.
