My restrictive eating & cardio only mindset did not get me here.
My goal was always to build muscle, get toned, be stronger but I was constantly doing the wrong things.
I was doing opposite of what was going to get me there.
I ruined my relationship with food by constantly being on a “diet.”
I altered my relationship with my body because I was never satisfied by results & would beat it down in the gym.
It wasn’t until I started working with a coach that I increased my calorie intake. Probably starting from 1100 cals and working my way up to 2500.
The increase in food allowed my body to recover better from my gym sessions. Lifting actually felt good AND I was able to go heavier & heavier.
This combination helped me achieve my goals of becoming stronger & building muscle.
Low calories & constant cardio will not get you there.
