All BART services were shut down Friday morning until 9:30 a.m. due to a “computer equipment problem,” according to a BART advisory. As of 9:30 a.m., the company has “resumed limited East Bay service,” according to BART spokesperson Chris Filippi, while transbay and West Bay service remains halted. The West Oakland station is also closed, and there is no current estimate of when service will be restored.
