The Supreme Court has given the Trump administration the go-ahead to deport migrants from the U.S. to third countries other than their own, including South Sudan, El Salvador, and Libya. Only Justices Sotomayor, Kagan, and Jackson dissented, saying the Court was “rewarding lawlessness,” and Trina Realmuto of the National Immigrational Litigation Alliance said “ramifications of the Supreme Court’s order will be horrifying.” As part of the Trump administration’s immigration agenda, countries including Costa Rica, Panama, and Rwanda have also been approached about accepting foreign migrants.
